Movers & Shakers

We see you: Caroline Daur

This model/influencer/fitness guru shares all aspects of her life with her 4 million Instagram followers—including (on one occasion) a bruised eye.

DP’s series of the people—young, old, and everyone in between—who most intrigue us.

Why we’re watching her: Daur (Caro to her friends and over 4 million Instagram followers) is a reigning multi-hyphenate with manicured fingers in the worlds of beauty, fashion, and fitness. (We’re trying to avoid the word “influencer” but, well, you get the picture.)

Pedigree: After growing up outside of Hamburg, Daur, 30, got her start with a fashion blog. Yes, she’s modeled but these days, she prefers to think of herself as a “content creator”. According to Haute Time, Daur “works with major luxury fashion brands like Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton and travels the world, attending the likes of the Cannes Film Festival and sitting in the front row at a Gucci runway show in Seoul.”

There’s no such thing as TMI: When Daur took a tumble during Paris fashion week in 2022, she documented her “bruised and bloodied” eye and six-hour hospital stay in real time for her gazillion followers. “One snapshot showed her holding a napkin to her eye as blood dripped down her face and arm onto her $1,380 Gucci x The North Face hooded sweatshirt,” according to the Daily Mail

Rise and shine: Daur has her own three-month fitness program that, she promises, will transform your body if you commit  to doing it for 26 minutes, six days a week. Thinking of slacking off? “When you feel your muscles burn, just remember: If we don’t push, we don’t rise,” she says.

Party spirit animal: The cheetah, known for its quick wit and fast feet.

Prediction: You might see me launching a brand or perhaps even venturing into the world of podcasting,” Daur told Haute Time. “I might even open my own store! I’m excited to see where my passions take me next.” One thing we can safely predict: Whenever a new social platform rears its head, our girl Caro will be there.
